Our team includes Debbie Hartzman (Sales), Anya Knott (Sales), Yarra Steinman (Sales Assistant), Denise Albo (Accounting), and Lisa Talcott (Owner Relations and General Manager of Rental Operations). We believe in excellent customer service, great value and a passion for the mountain lifestyle experience.

The founder, Larry Hoffer, started his career in the hotel business in Vail in 1981 - and then spent most of his career in senior level marketing positions in the telecommunications industry before launching Rentals By Owner in 2002 with the Vail market. Over the past few years our team has expanded to Beaver Creek, Aspen, Snowmass, Breckenridge, Steamboat, Telluride, Park City, Deer Valley, and Lake Tahoe - representing several hundred homes.

We recognized the vacation home owners’ needs and guests needs weren't being met through traditional property management companies and have come up with a great solution for all.
